GRADUATION DAY FOR MIKEY

My heart was full of joy on this day. My youngest son graduated from UTSA in San Antonio.
Here is a picture of his family on graduation day. A party was held at their home, and all the
family was there to celebrate his achievements.

I married an angel. Yesterday I mentioned to Kurt, that it made me sad that Mikey would miss
Tyler's last soccer game for the season. He and Rhobin have been so busy, tiling, and grouting
and fixing the house, plus school and finals, and work, he had not gotten to the grass cutting.
And with a celebration coming up on Saturday at their house for Mikey's graduation,
Mikey had decided to stay home Saturday, miss the game, and cut the grass.
I told Kurt and this morning, he surprised them and cut their grass for them. Some people
do not know my husband very well, I know I have a man with a heart of gold. Who would
give the shirt off his back for his friends and family. Thank God for bringing him into my life.

TYLERS PRAYERS

I babysat for Ty and Ava last night. His prayers are always so sweet.
But last night he added a line, after he asked God to take care of all
his family and the world. He says and Please God, do not
let the monsters out of their caves tonight.

I said AMEN!!!!

AMY'S WEDDING

On May 8th, Kurt's daughter, my stepdaughter got married to Brian Gliba, at 4:30 pm in a ceremony on the Riverwalk. It was a lovely wedding, and we are praying for BRIAN AND AMY to be happy everafter.
The reception followed at Azucas, with wonderful deserts and coffee.

EARLY MOTHERS DAY

Our mothers day was celebrated a day early due to a Sunday Wedding in the family.

We were lucky to have most of our kids gather around us. The kiddos had a wonderful time
running around the house, literally, round and round until they begged to go inside and watch a movie.

MOMO and BACA brought a brisket, and everybody pitched in bringing side dishes to make it an awesome mothers day meal. Kurt bbq'ed burgers and hot dogs and sausage.
It was great fun, and we were glad KIM AND ADAM AND DANNY AND ANNA could make it.

babysitting for grandkids

Last night I babysat for Tyler and Ava, They are so much fun. After dinner we had bathtime,
and then had snacks and funtime. Tyler put a think blanket on the floor and pretended it was
the ocean. They both jumped on it and Ava was so cute trying to jump..She would just
bend her knees, and move her body up and down.. it was too funny. But she does
understand so much. She poked Tylers eye at one point during the night and said EYE!

Bedtime was so easy, I rocked her and sang to her and she laid down with no tears, no crying
and hummed herself to sleep. What a doll baby.

Tyler and I got to watch cartoons all night and ended watching JAY JAY the JET PLANE>
When JAY JAY started yawning, so did we. It was funny, we both could not stop yawning,
so after JAY JAY we decided it was bedtime. He said his prayers and went right to sleep.
I think the secret to last night was letting them jump for 30 minutes ! hahhahahhahaha

When Tyler said I love you grandma, there was a pillow next to him and he thought it was me.
hahhahah He started laughing, and we made a joke about telling a pillow you loved it.!!

What a joy my grandbabies bring to me. I am looking forward to more fun with the rest
of the grandbabies too.

LIFE, FAMILY AND FRIENDS

There comes a time in eveerybody's life when you stop and realize how important your family and your friends are. I think everybody that was brought up in a rich family environment can attest to that.
We are lucky to be blessed with the love of family and friends. There are times when some of you might have to be far away from family, and I believe that is when this reality shines through. To reach out to someone or be able to call someone that truly cares and wants to help is so important.

Even in times of trouble, family will always be there. There are times you will not like someone's actions, but that does not mean you do not love them and there are times you must pull away from someone
because of it. But do not ever close the door completely. No matter how much they hurt you,
the door must stay opened. Because there will come a day when they will realize how much you love them and how important being a part of a family enriches your life.

NEW ADDITIONS TO THE HOUSE

OK, MY HUSBAND WORKED HARD TODAY AND I GOT HOME LATE AND IN THE DARK
AND DID NOT NOTICE ANYTHING. HE KEPT CALLING ME AND SAYING WELL I HUNG
THE HUMMINGBIRD FEEDER IN THE BACK, HAVE YOU SEEN IT, I SAID NO IT IS DARK.
THEN HE CALLED AGAIN AND TOLD ME THAT HE HAD LEFT HIS GLASSES ON THE FRONT PORCH, HAHHAHHHAH FOR ME TO GO LOOK FOR THEM.

WELL I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. HE HUNG UP SHUTTERS HE HAD BUILT AND
STAINED. THEY LOOK AWESOME. HE IS SO HANDY AND I AM SO LUCKY TO BE
MARRIED TO SUCH A WONDERFUL MAN. HE ALSO SURPRISED ME WITH THE
BENCH I HAD WHINING ABOUT THAT I WANTED!!!.... BUT YES, HE HAD
TO GUIDE ME THRU THE PORCH, AND ASK ME WELL HAVE YOU SEEN
THE SHUTTERS ON THE RIGHT SIDE BY YOUR PLANT?????
WELL WHEN I WALKED OVER THERE, THERE WAS MY NEW BENCH!!
HE IS SO AWESOME! I LOVE YOU BABY!!
